Welcome to RunCred! By signing up and or using our platform, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Introduction
RunCred is a community-driven platform created by independent individuals for runners to track, showcase, and celebrate their running achievements. We are not a registered company or entity at this time, and the platform is operated in good faith for the benefit of the running community.
2. Eligibility & Registration
• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use RunCred.
• You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up and maintain the integrity of your profile.
• Your RunCred profile is personal to you, and you are responsible for all activity on your account.
3. Use of the Platform
• RunCred is designed to log races, track achievements, and engage with the running community.
• You must not use the platform for spam, harassment, or any unlawful activity.
• Any form of misrepresentation (e.g., falsifying race results, achievements, or credentials) will lead to removal from the platform.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform without notice.
4. Data & Privacy
• By signing up, you consent to us collecting and processing your basic user data (name, email, race history, and running stats) for platform functionality.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
• Your race history and profile may be visible to other users unless you choose to make it private.
• We may use anonymized data for insights, leaderboards, or community reports.
5. Intellectual Property & Content
• Any content you upload (race details, achievements, photos, etc.) remains yours, but you grant RunCred a non-exclusive right to display and share it within the platform.
• You must not upload copyrighted material without permission.
• RunCred branding, badges, and scoring algorithms are our intellectual property, and you agree not to copy or misuse them.
6. Limitation of Liability
• RunCred is an informal, community-driven platform, and we provide the service “as is” without guarantees.
• We are not responsible for inaccuracies in race results, incorrect data input, or third-party event issues.
• If the platform experiences downtime or data loss, we will try our best to restore it, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• You use the platform at your own risk, and we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages related to its use.
7. Changes to Terms
• These T&Cs may be updated from time to time, and continued use of the platform means you accept the latest version.
